Example of Ceramic Tile & Dolomite Marble in Showroom Display
Like the times, Fordham Marble is changing too. There are so many new and stylish products that have been introduced this year that we felt the need to make some showroom display updates to reflect the new trends.
Here is an example of one of our new installations, a blend of warm and cool tones:
The Floor – Dolomite & Golden Marble
The floor is done with a fine blend of Honed Dolomite Marble and Golden Marble that is polished in a lovely geometric pattern. The two finishes play off each other in a wonderful way. This mosaic boasts a warm and inviting feeling.
The Baseboard – Dolomite Marble
Both the baseboard and the pencil liner are done in Dolomite Marble. Next above the baseboard are a few rows of the Golden Marble in a Triangle Mosaic pattern. Then we have our 4″ x 16″ White Ceramic Tile in an undulated finish; it’s machine-made tile that looks handmade. A wonderful added element to keep an old world feel.
The Wall – Marble Above Ceramic Tile
Above the Dolomite Pencil Liner is a Refined Herringbone in a mix of Honed Dolomite Marble and Polished Golden Marble. Yes, we mixed Marble with Ceramic tile and so can you. This is how you obtain a rich look without overdosing on Marble or breaking the bank.
Palmer Sink Legs
We completed this look with a stunning new design from Palmer Sink Legs Systems. The blend of wood with the cool hammered metal really makes this vanity system pop.
The Marble Counter Top
The stone counter top is a Select Grade of Crema Marfil in a Honed finish, 1-1/4” / 3 cm.
